The interview process was easy and enjoyable. I have to give major props to the recruiter, he communicated every step of the way and never left me in the dark during the process. The process was easy. First, it was a phone call with the recruiter, then a video interview with the hiring manager, and then an in-person interview with the hiring manager and the hiring manager's boss. Every interview went very well and the only reason I gave it an average rating was because I was told that I was over-qualified for the role and they asked if I knew this was entry level since I was so over-qualified. When I asked for feedback they said that they went with someone that had more experience and so it was frustrating to hear. I think that people don't realize that experienced people are looking for jobs because of the terrible job market but once it rebounds they'll leave for better opportunities and pay whereas someone who doesn't have as much experience will stay to grow.
