I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Universal Music Group (Woodland Hills, CA) in May 2013
Interview
Very standard. Phone screen than an on-site. They called on my references after the on-site. On-site was with the hiring manager, about an hour. Hiring manager offered job about 3 days later and a formal offer letter followed. I was little surprised at how standard the interview was, no tricks no test and not a lot of interesting questions. Just one standard interview.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Universal Music Group
Interview
For an entry level coordinator role I did 6 rounds with 8 interviews and 1 assignment. Lengthy, but nice people.
Prior to the 8th round, I was told I would get an offer after the interview if it went well. In the final round they asked me “who my referral was, and that they were asking me this for a reason”. I told them who it was, and they didn’t know who they were.
The following day I got a call telling me that they were going with someone else and that it had been a toss up.
