I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Vanderbilt University (Nashville, TN) in Feb 2018
Interview
The first round of interviews consisted of three sessions of group interviews. In these, we solve a problem as a team, hosted group discussions, and created posters for presentations. These were weighted less heavily than the individual interview where I was interviewed by one area coordinator and two current RAs. Questions about my personal experiences and ideas for floor community were the focus of the latter interview portion.

The interview was pretty relaxed - you are made to sit before a group of three interviewers, two students and one school official. The questions were pretty standard - of the sort, "what would you do if x happened to a student... tell me of a time when... " and so on.
