Great at first. I applied in January 2023. I received an email about a month later to schedule a phone call with a recruiter. That went great. I was sent a writing task that same day, completed and sent back. Nobody confirmed that they’d received the writing task even though I did send a follow up email to be sure it was received. 6 days later I received an email for a formal interview with a senior supervisor and a senior manager. The interviews were conversational and relaxed. I felt welcomed and more confident in my decision to have applied despite the lack of communication with my recruiter. This should have been my red flag. Although my interviews had gone well (there were hints as to next steps regarding an offer), and I was told when I’d hear back from someone - I was ghosted. That timeline came and went, and follow up emails were ignored. Veho has a wonderful outward appearance, and a great laid back culture. But they clearly are lacking in the communications department and this should be considered a red flag about how they treat employees.
