I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Vendasta (Saskatoon, SK) in Feb 2022
Interview
1st interview- 3 people over Google Meets.
Standard questions what are your strengths and weakness, describe a situation when...
After the interview I was sent 3 "emails" to respond to.
The interview was pretty standard, but my impression based off their questions, my questions, and the assignment I was sent, was that there was zero marketing involved in a position called "Marketing specialist". It came across more as a call centre rep. Calling and emailing clients to say we've been trying to get approval on this for two weeks, and send me this information that I can pass on to the person who is actually doing your marketing.
At the beginning of the interview, there were comments of that's a good answer.
At the end, I found out there would be two additional interviews and I'd learn within the week if I'd get a 2nd interview.
Once I completed the assignment, I received a reply from a 4th person (who wasn't in the interview)within an hour that they unfortunately weren't moving forward with my application.
Guess they could tell I was unimpressed.
Overall-
Standard interview, just greatly misrepresented for a role called Marketing Specialist and labeled mid-senior level. As someone who has been an administrator over 12+ years, the role as portrayed in the interview would be an entry level position and definitely would not need marketing experience. If this is false, maybe you need to rethink your interview practices.
