Vertex Customer Success interview questions

Saw a post on LinkedIn about a CSM opening so I reached out to the hiring manager. They responded and said HR would get back to me. I then received a denial to my application, I emailed the Hiring manager again and then I got a response from HR to set up an interview. I set up the interview, I thought it went well, took over a week and a half and the hiring manager (who i was emailing already) said that they wanted someone with more experience. We had reviewed my experience through email so it sounds like I was just strung along.
