I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Viasat (Carlsbad, CA)
Interview
I was contacted through a recruiter then had a 20 min phone interview with her. Then a 45 min phone interview with the hiring manager. Then had a 45-60 min Skype interview with a panel of people. They asked questions about satcom and networking which since I haven’t worked with satcom daily in 2 years I completely bombed all of them. Also the Skype connection was terrible so after 20 mins of trouble shooting we decided to do it as a phone interview. Then the next day was contacted via phone and said they loved me and just needed to do references and background. Weeks later I was finally made an offer that was lower then another company I decided to go with.
