      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Viasat (Carlsbad, CA) in Aug 2013

      Interview

I have submitted my resume to ViaSat website with no results. I got a ViaSat recruiter contact information by networking and applied online and submitted my resume for that position to the recruiter. I got a confirmation for phone interview with Program Manager (PM) within days of my submission. The interview started with good greetings but from there it got strange. The PM did not know or was curious about the Project Management (PMI) Institute which it is a nationally recognized institue for PMs across all industries. ViaSat has large number of positions available in almost every department. Many of these positions are open for long periods of time. How does a company survive its operations if so many critical positions are open for so long? So is there is immediate need for these positions or is it a pool candidates to hire-as-you-go practice?

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about your Scrum Master experience? When did I get my certification? Tell me more about the "scrum-like" experience?
