I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Viasat
Interview
Initial screening with HR
Second round: Follow-up interview with member of the Finance team
Final round: Multiple interviews (4-6) with various members of the Finance team
Slow process with a lot of lag in between rounds
Background check and referrals required after final round of interviews
Mostly behavioral and resume questions
Very laid back phone interview, then video interview with a panel discussing background and why one would be qualified for the role, also describing some situational story lines and how one would approach a particular scenario.
Scheduled a call with the recruiter a few days in advance. Day/time of interview, and recruiter never shows up. Blames the system for not showing our appointment on her calendar. Asks when I can reschedule, so I give her timeframes, and then I never hear from her again. Followed up again and still no response. Huh? Seems like rock stars over there.
