I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Virtusa (Warsaw, Masovia)
Interview
I was approached on LinkedIn by Joanna and her message really interested me and I've decided to talk about the offer.
From the very beginning to the very end I felt that the communication in the process is so clear, I always knew what to expect.
The process was very short - 2 meetings. First meeting was with the recruiter. It was one of the nicest interviews I had - very professional but at the sime time I wasn't feeling any stres, I feel like talking to a friend. And Joanna asked me really good, sometimes difficult questions!
The second interview was very difficult, and the interviewer gave me tricky case studies.
Overall, I didn't get the job and I waited for the feedback a bit longer than I expected but when I got it from Joanna, I was impressed with how detailed it was.
All i all, I had a very good experience and I would recommend this process.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Virtusa in Mar 2022
Interview
There were 3 steps:
1) Non-technical phone call
During this step, I got a lot of information about ITMAGINATION. I had a lot of questions here, but for each of them I got a comprehensive answer. Then I had to present my experiences and say what I was looking for. The whole meeting was held in a very nice atmosphere. At this meeting, I met Aleksandra who supported me throughout the recruitment process.
2) Technical interview via MS-Teams
It was an hour-long meeting with an experienced person asking about many topics related to the duties for the position for which I was recruited. However, it wasn't reading questions from a piece of paper, but talking like with a colleague from work.
3) Additional meeting with Delivery Manager
Here I got more information about the project I would be involved in.
- DECISION
Soon after the third meeting ended, I got a job offer :)
There is one very important thing. Only one week passed from the beginning of the process to the decision. For comparison, other processes in which I participated took over a month!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Just a few examples from the technical part:
- What is Spring Framework?
- What is REST?
- What does JVM's memory look like?
- What is SOLID and ACID?
- How the "@Transactional" annotation works.
- Is a stream better than a loop? Why?
- (a few questions about SQL, I don't remember)
Thank you so much for the review and great cooperation during the recruitment process! Welcome on board!
All the best from myself, Jakub, and the entire team,
Aleksandra
I applied online. I interviewed at Virtusa (Warsaw, Masovia) in Feb 2022
Interview
Two extremely concrete and nice interviews during the recruitment process. Soft conversation with Ms Paulina Rydzewska and the second one - purely technical discussion with the real experienced .Net tech expert - Mariusz Turczyniak . Both meetings at a fantastic level, which allowed both parties to get to know each other, their expectations regarding the work. Extremely professional approach, very encouraging to start cooperation with the Company.
