Interview
I had walked into Walgreens to do some regular shopping and randomly asked an employee if I wanted to apply how I would go about it. The employee asked me to hold on a moment as she walked away and came back with the store manager who insisted on interviewing me right then and there. I was dressed in khaki pants and a cute but not professional top so I felt a bit awkward but couldn't refuse the interview. They didn't have my resume and I hadn't filled out an application so all of that was skipped. Then I was offered the job. I was to fill in the application so they could enter some basic information into the training program, but that was about it.

I answered some basic questions, "where do I see myself in 5-10 years, how do I do in teams, do I have customer service experience?"
A few basic questions to access my abilities and interest to see if I would fit into the team environment and work well with the others in the store. To see if I could learn easily and work hard.

Quick, easy, more personality questions than skills questions. It was just to see how well you would fit with the team. After the interview they call you back in a couple of days or through the phone to give you an offer.

Met with the assistant manager of the store, who was very polite and welcoming, which made conversation easy. Made small talk in the beginning, and then she asked six situational/behavior-type questions. Was offered the job on the spot, accepted it, and was out the door with the drug test materials.
