Wayve interview questions

Multiple rounds starting with the recruiter sync, followed by hiring manager round, few individual rounds, an interview panel and then a final VP leadership round. Interview process was enjoyable and engaging. Wayve is truly a global company so a few rounds were early as 4am US time depending on interviewer availability.

The interview process at Wayve was very positive and thorough. I went through around 5 or 6 interviews including a presentation pitch, starting with an initial recruiter call with Lloyd. The process is in-depth but fair, if you’re comfortable in the role you’re applying for, there aren’t any curveballs. The focus is very much on how you think, how you work, your vision, and where your passion lies, rather than trying to catch you out. Culture clearly matters a lot at Wayve, and it’s easy to see that the longer process is about finding the right fit on both sides. It’s worth noting that you can be very good at your job and still not be the right fit, which shouldn’t be taken personally. Lloyd was extremely responsive throughout, keeping things moving and following up where needed. The process did take longer than usual, but that seemed down to the company being very busy and the availability of senior stakeholders. Everyone I spoke to was friendly, switched on, and professional, and nothing felt awkward or forced. Wayve feels like a young company that genuinely values culture, openness to new ideas, and people being themselves.
