I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Whiting-Turner (Greenbelt, MD) in Oct 2015
Interview
I met some of the Whiting-Turner members at a Career Fair at my college and was asked to have an on campus interview the next week. Both interviewers were laid back and conversational. I was then asked to come in for a second round interview at their office in MD. There I talked to three different people, including two Vice Presidents. All three were also very conversational. They asked some typical interview questions regarding my interests and why I wanted to do construction and why Whiting-Turner, that kind of stuff. They also asked lots of questions about my resume and allowed me to expand on my experiences. They were also very open to answering my questions. I was asked to come back to visit a job site with them.
Multiple rounds in the same day. They take you to lunch and do a jobsite tour. Met with a bunch of different people and it was a really cool interactive experience.

Interview
They mostly are interested on how you are as a person. In my experience, the focus a lot on getting to know what I have done (nothing technical). The interview was pretty long but it was nice that they explained a lot about the company, etc.
