Thank you for your feedback. We know that each interviewee will have a different experience. However, typically our interviews last 15-30 minutes, it depends on the scope and nature of the interview. We noted that you stated it took about a week to learn if you had received the job offer. This is very rare, though we will not say impossible. Typically, those who we want to bring on the team are notified immediately during the actual interview, and told that only after the background check has fully finished running will the official offer be made.
Applicants who generally wait a week are those we have decided not to pursue. There are several reasons we may choose not to pursue that candidate. Typically, it is a matter of whether the applicant fit our company culture. In this particular instance, if an applicant is waiting a week, generally that is an indication we are not pursuing the candidate. We do try our best not to make these decisions lightly.
