I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Xactly Corp.

Interview

1st there could be telephone call for 15 mins. I was asked difference between API and webservice. Write test case for an application that takes back up of a DB. The company wants Automation resources so expect automation questions on Selenium. I didn't know selenium and I was upfront about it.

Question 1

1) test data for application that read input between 1-100 and outputs unique 5 digit numbers. 2) how to check the number of occurrences of a word in a file in Unix. 3) what is the role of a scrum master? 4) what is velocity? 5) Template of a test case. (When answering do NOT miss out test objective...which is a one liner about what the test does) 6) Scrum methodology questions
