I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Xero (Auckland, Auckland) in Sep 2023
Interview
I experienced three stages: 1. Initial 30 min call with Talent Business Partner to discuss background, motivations for applying, and find out more about the company and role. 2. 90 min technical coding session with a Principal and Senior developer. I was given the code base in advance, and then asked to implement a new feature during the interview as a pair-programming exercise. 3. 60 min of behavioural style questions with two Senior Managers. This felt relaxed and more about assessing personality fit at this stage.
