      Operations Manager Interview

      Jul 29, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Zwift (London, England)

      Interview

Initial communication was good, short telephone interview with a helpful and knowledgeable eployee. I was then asked at very short notice to come into the office, a 2&1/2hr expensive journey for a 4hr face-to-face interivew. The interview went well, everyone I met was extremely personable and sold the company and role well, and I was told I would hear back shortly after. Communication continued for 2 weeks, delaying responses 'waiting on the hiring managers decision' which is understandable, after which no commumication whatsoever. I found this unprofessional after a strong rapport was built and I had committed myself to over 4hrs of interviews at great personal expense and being told they had heard 'only very positive feedback'. To hear nothing is not only frustrating after being somewhat misled but in fact rude and unbecoming of such a 'progressive' organisation.
