- one recruiter phone call. Standard stuff, info about the job/comp etc
- second interview was a technical screen. 45 minutes, first 20 minutes I was asked various question about my past experience etc.
Then 15 minutes was dedicated to a "technical screen". This consisted of a small problem, and how to redesign a workflow for a new feature. No coding involved.
I was rejected for not going into enough detail. Bit of a weird expectation. You are expected to do the following in 15 minutes.....
- Presented a problem
- Problem gets explained
- Ask any follow up questions
- Understand the workflow/new feature
- Explain your thought process elegantly
- Go into specific detail
- Come up with a working solution
- Answer any follow up questions from the interviewers
