I interviewed with Hims.
First was talking to the recruiter, then engineering manager, followed by a panel of three engineers.
I interviewed very well and when it came time to make a decision they told me the role would be changed to one I wasn't qualified for.
This was told to me AFTER I spent over five hours interviewing.
If the role had stayed the same then I would have received an offer.
Talk about duplicitous.
I understand things can change but to pull something like this after I set aside so much of my time to interview for this role speaks volumes about their lack of professionalism.
It looks like I dodged a bullet but I wanted to share my experience with others so they are informed and should think twice about applying here.
I wasn't sure how much to believe the reviews from current and former employees, but after my experience their reviews have far more weight than before.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to apply here.
