I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ooma (Cubao) in Jan 2019
Interview
Start is good. However the final is very challenging. They based the result on the resume not on the conversation. But process are easy. You just need to wait for the final interviewer's schedule for the interview. Unlike other company that everything was processed by hr.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ooma (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2021
Interview
Phone screen with a recruiter then a meeting with a hiring manager was the process.
I meet a recruiter on Tuesday who loved my experience because it was exactly inline with what they were looking for. They messaged me on Wednesday night for my availability for the rest of the week. I provided them my availability for Thursday and Friday so they could squeeze me in. They send me a confirmation minutes before a meeting was set to start with the hiring manager. Of course I did not see this email or ever send a confirmation email back. The hiring manager hoped on the bridge and I never showed up in their mind then send a email to all us to not reschedule my interview. Which to me seemed extreme as they forced me into an exceedingly small time window.
Of course, the hiring manager knew this but could care less. I think the attitude of the hiring manager is indicative of the company culture unprofessional. I'm glad I did not waste another moments energy on the role.
