The position was for contract. I had 3 different interviews which is excessive for a contractor role. The manager decided I was best for another role but assured me I would still be considered for the one I applied to. I wasn’t too happy for the role that she wanted me in because it was above my experience . Later I was told it went to an internal which makes no sense why you would go out of your way to hire an internal when the position was a contractor role. The temp agency also called to let me me know that she didn’t want me to accept any offers that came my way because she would have a role for me. After 3 weeks of her not updating the temp agency and given the run around, I moved on. Very poor candidate experience! Don’t make promises about roles that haven’t even been created yet!!
