There's a somewhat steep learning curve at first but after that it's a pretty decent job. It was just me and one other person on a crew to place railcars for our customers so we had free reign on the way we did our job. The work was interesting and the schedule allowed for a healthy work/life balance.
Cons
The pay was low for the work being performed and benefits were few to non-existent. There was also constant drama between day and night shift which ultimately effected the quality of our work and lead to customer service failures.
