Acelero Learning has provided Head Start services since 2001. Today, Acelero Learning directly serves 5,000 children and families in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Nevada, South Carolina and Wisconsin.
Shine Early Learning formally launched in 2011 to expand our ability to improve and transform Head Start programs through two separate services:

Shine Assist is a training and technical assistance program that partners with other Head Start providers to improve their programs through hands-on training, access to our proprietary tools which have demonstrable impact on child outcomes, and the use of our Shine Insight data system.
Shine Implement manages the delivery of Head Start services for a select group of partners through a suite of services including oversight of educational, family services, and program design activities, provision of our proprietary tools, and use of our Shine Insight data system.

For example, a recent study conducted by the Annenberg Institute for School Reform at Brown University, in collaboration with Acelero Learning, found that Head Start infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in Acelero programs made significant gains during the 2020–2021 school year despite the pandemic. These findings are compelling given reports of the disastrous effects of the pandemic on childhood education, and we take pride ensuring that we provide a consistent level of quality continuity for the children—and our staff.
