Mission HDC’s mission is to lead our communities by providing integrated, culturally respectful mental health and addiction services that foster hope, self-determination, and recovery. Our focus on serving those most in need improves the quality of life for all.
Description HDC is a private, non-profit, organization that was established in 1938. HDC is a community mental health center that serves residents in four counties in northeastern Minnesota and one county in northwestern Wisconsin.

On January 1, 2008 HDC merged with its long-time affiliate corporation, HRC Mental Health Center. Together, HDC and HRC are comprised of over 300 staff members who range from psychiatrists to administrative professionals.

HDC is proud to offer a comprehensive set of services to the clients it serves. HDC clients can receive any number of services provided by an integrated team of professionals. Psychiatry, psychotherapy, adult and child case management, and outreach services are all available through our friendly and knowledgeable staff.
