Pros

Close to home if on LI, great if want 4 days/week in office (required for many), some very nice colleagues

Cons

-Male dominated. Women (unless a McCann or close friends with one) are excluded regularly - from social "team" lunches, to key meetings. Lewd comments (won't repeat example), condescending comments "you should know to take the notes, I shouldn't have to ask you to", directed at the only woman in a meeting, etc are the norm. -Management unable to commit to decisions. Start big project (invest time and resource) then stop and shift to a completely different project. Repeat. Never get traction. -Emperor has no clothes.

Pros

Co-workers are friendly (not higher ups-they look out for themselves and don't really care about your advancement)

Cons

You won't learn. You won't grow. If you have any ideas to improve anything no one will care. They do things the way things have been done for decades and only need you to fill a role and do what you're told.

Pretty awful place to work

Pros

You will get a lot of free (low quality) food during holidays to entice you to stay in the office.

Cons

Holiday hours are pretty awful. 8 to 8, and weekends too. You have to park in front of a supermarket. The elevators malfunction and trap people often. The office is one massive floor and everyone is packed on top of each other like a can of sardines. You will hear gossip often within a 15 yard radius whether you like it or not. Management is super stingy. I wasn't set up with necessary software upon arrival due to their negligence and I was sent home so they wouldn't have to pay for 2 hours of my work. If it was a slow day, I was sent home early and docked pay. Disclaimer; I was hired through a recruitment agency. As noted on a previous reviewer, they go through a process where over time they constantly check up on your interest while also pushing you to do "more." Management wants you to do something but are unable to actually define what that is. You better know what it is though. 1-800
