The brand is great, started by Royal Robbins. Free lunch

Cons

Managers/leaders are worthless in customer service department. 8 people left in 3 years due to poor management. Oh don’t get me started on the human resource lady, talk about a lost cause.

-Awesome employee discount -Seems like there is a lot of upward momentum and room for promotion due to storefront expansion -Monthly store performance bonus + OT opportunities -Management seems competent -Benefits for full-time employees -Fun Clientele -All federal holidays paid (double if you work), veterans have the option to take off for veterans day -Company seems to care about and value its front-line troops -Store teams are smallish and close knit -Brand has a near-fanatical following

Rapid growth company. Worked for 1 year as a consultant and permanent for 2 years Pay was in line with market standards. if you like tactical gear the discount is excellent so employees can wear at work, casual dress code, free lunch on Friday.

Cons

The company growth presents some challenges, manual processes, and legacy-type systems, they do not invest in technology, nor in middle management. Mid-management is very rough as they have grown with the company, therefore, they possess little skills to manage people. HR is the worse, there are no training tools to improve managers growth, To the extent, that it seem like they act as employees are paid to work mentality.
