Pros

Fun, customer interaction, lots to do.

Cons

Too much to do for the salary. Morning Clerk: make 12 coffee pots, ensure full, cleaning, cashier, food. Inventory ordering, stocking & more.

Pros

None Really. It's a job.

Cons

7-11 has taken a gas station that used to be very nice, very busy, very clean, and turned it into a trashy convenience store and has driven away many of our customers by applying their corporate stamp on it and not understanding the local market and what customers want. The work load has nearly double, but associates are paid the same or start at less than the previous company. The amount of work is completely overwhelming. There is not enough staff scheduled to complete all the cleaning, counting, forecasting, manage the grill, stock shelves, keep coffee fresh, etc. No raises, no incentive for employees to work hard.

Pros

Then only pros are that you get to see some wonderful costumers.

Cons

I didn't not get quality training. The work was not equally shared by other employees.
