Heavily siloed departments. Communication,coordination and cross department is difficult. Having to jump through various people to find who you need to talk with, only to find they are no longer there is another challenge. Lots of old,outdated documentation which often gets in the way. teams doing their own thing rather than having a cohesive tech base to work with together. Promotions very much based on sucking up to higher management.
