Pros

Good pay, decent time off and home every night. Equipment is for the most part good and maintained.

Cons

Horrible supervisors and managers, totally arrogant, ignorant and condescending. They don't care about drivers and think its funny when they screw you. They expect you to move 2500lb+ pallets with nothing but a pallet jack. Then they get pissed and retaliate against you if you get hurt while doing it. Trucks are never loaded correctly, constantly having to move freight around to get stops off. Trailers are never loaded on time when you come in, you spend a hour or more trying to get loaded while working on a dock that is total chaos. Then you leave late and your not even on the highway and you already have pick up to do with early close times. After 4-5 years expect to be burned out and physically and emotionally worn down. Injuries are commonplace at ADP, blow out backs, pulled or torn muscles and much much more!! Favoritism and retaliation are in plentiful supply. Oh yeah, the routing, forget it, these clowns cant even read a map. They assign you a driver code and that's all you are to them, a number.

Pros

- Easy to work extra hours - Easy to get time off as a part-timer - Not too strict with coming in right on time; forgiving and understanding - Nice working environment; people are friendly and don't cause drama

Cons

- Pay rates less than average; and they really work you for it - Part-timers don't get much of a break - Difficult to get information from supervisors - Some supervisors don't know what they're doing - Lack of a sense of professionalism - Company is behind in terms of technology - Hours are not totally consistent; you could end up working a 9 hour shift as a part-timer just because they aren't done and need more help

Pros

If you like working out n doing regional driving to million dollars homes under construction. Its a nice thing to see.

Cons

A. Duie Pyle claims you have to wait a year once your a dedicated driver to move on to ltl or other accounts. Management at toll brothers treat you like your less than human. They want you to lay over n if you make an mistake they will harass a. Duie pyle so they don't have to pay you for the day. It back breaking products you are unloading by hand. You will have a helper to help but they are usually cheap laborers 65% are on work release from state prison. You use 53 n 48 ft trailers in residential neighborhoods. Be prepared if you don't get along with someone at a construction site. Toll brothers will not have your back.
