The longer term employees who still share the family values that Chesterton was known for

Cons

Upper management that came from the light bulb industries and not understanding the industry that Chesterton is in. Upper management would not follow written procedures when it did not fit with their way. They would disrespect and not value long term employees. The HR department is very unethical and does not have the employees in their best interest. Very toxic environment and culture to work in. No opportunity for growth or career development.

Like one review prior said. SYLVANIA transfers have made this company a joke. COO has the reigns and Regionals seem to have very little empowering. VP's have a little power, but not as much as the Executive team.
