      Pros

      Great work environment Always new hardware products Talented smart people

      Cons

      Hit and miss on product direction, solutions are incomplete and have many holes Biz dev needs to work and not rely on the field to engineer gaps with tech "partners" Equity not evenly distributed after IPO, most people worked hard for the IPO which was basically a bust.

      Great learning experience

      Pros

      A10 is definitely a great place to start your career and to be exposed to many things in the networking industry. The work place is very fast paced and you won't get bored easily. Snacks and dinner is provided, along with bagels on Fridays.

      Cons

      Working between releases can be very chaotic and upper management planning may seem unrealistic. Because of the fast paced environment you are pretty much expected to work many hours with little room for errors. Salary comparison to competitors is also lacking.

      Great environment for doers and learners

      Pros

      Not much office politics, great people and great technologies. Good ESPP program; good stock refresh program. The company struggled after the IPO but it has recovered since then. I believe the company will have a great upside within the next 24 months. CEO is friendly and a technical leader. CEO have not taken any salary nor stock options for years.

      Cons

      Marketing and branding are weak. It is not your best HR department and sometimes it can be frustrating experiences. The company needs to have better control of expenses, especially with headcount in Sales.
