      Extremely toxic and dysfunctional!

      Pros

      Work hours...No need to put in the long hours that one does at top companies.

      Cons

      Functions like a caste system. Opportunities are granted based on things other than skills, talents, and experience--more so than is typical in corporate America. Lacks direction and work focus. Likes to chase shiny new things, regardless of ability--which means that thing do not reach proper completion or good results. Poor quality all around. Management lacks integrity and respect for workers. Truth is not a virtue here. Quite the opposite. Lies are rewarded. HR is aware of the toxicity and enables it. Don't walk...run away.

      No good engineering process.

      Pros

      The company's strength is good hardware, which beats their competitors in many places, market is growing, and they can be good position if they can do right.

      Cons

      Needless to say, Saturday work is No.1 cons. Because of this, smart engineers won't come. Software is so messy from the beginning, nobody has ownership of modules (there is no modularity though), and because of poor design of foundation, individual engineer has to do a lot of unnecessary manual work, very error prone. No good engineering or release process. Top management has strong favoritism to gather only certain privileged engineers.

      Pros

      Free dinner Monday to Friday. Free lunch and dinner on Saturday.

      Cons

      Working on Saturday are MANDATORY. Some people work on Sunday too. There is a reason why they offer free food. And they never told you that during the interview process. I did ask for work hours and they lied.
