      Hire and Fire Mentality no Strategic Vision

      Good product Great market to be in if they will keep you Some nice people

      Cons

      Management turning on a dime every five minutes. Totally tactical with no strategic vision. Focused only on the short term and happy to replace people without notice. No HR or any support functions at all. They will use you and then discard you once the knowledge and contacts you had have been passed on.

      Be careful what you wish for before joining A10

      A10 can pay well and there are plenty of options on offer Plenty of flexibility for sales reps in cutting deals They have some good reference accounts

      Cons

      How much are your options really worth? Everyone has a ton of them It is very difficult to compete with F5 or Citrix as they are dominant and have functionally richer solutions and existing relationships. A10 competes mainly on price alone and often times that is not enough to win a deal. A very tough sale in EMEA A10 has struggled to retain staff and penetrate the market. The lawsuit always come up as strong objection in sales opportunities, despite what they tell you

      Tech Company without R&D

      Salary/Compensation was good Used to be Tech centric company till last CEO Work life balance

      Cons

      No Innovations in last 2-3 years Earlier it was Tech centric company and now it is pure sales centric. It should be right combination of both. Not a single new project in R&D and closed lots of ongoing projects. Closed Down the India office by new INDIAN CEO, without given 30 days notice and even didn't clear dues, like last year Bonus and current RSU.
