Pros

Working towards a great cause/mission Opportunity to work with world-renown scientists Collaboration with external institutions

Cons

The building is dark and dreary Hybrid schedule is mandated but 99% of meetings are still held virtually The paid time off/sick leave is described as “generous” by HR but it’s really not - 10 sick days a year

Pros

Benefits are pretty good and pay has increased slightly

Cons

The CEO is the worst. No flexible/hybrid work options, no clear communication from management about return to work during COVID, no exceptions considered/approved -even due to serious health (cancer) and mental illness, no cohesiveness, no one talks to anyone. No employee annual reviews for years (and metrics are a joke)! Hallways are dark. lights off, bathrooms are gross, office is severely outdated, no A/C or refuse to use it, kitchenette is in need of remodel - sink keeps breaking. No windows, low ceilings, poor lighting. Such a depressing place to work.
