Pros

Nice coworkers, good sick time

Cons

The culture at AACR is so unhealthy and so unwelcoming from the top down. There are too many managers that don’t carry their weight, and not enough appreciation, or money, for the cogs in the machine that are doing the work. No work from home, no comp time for overtime, no outlets for finding support, no room to grow.

Pros

I met great friends while working at AACR. My Department head was also amazing BUT passive. The work being done by the organization is reward in itself. The office is conveniently located downtown and there’s a new WaWa

Cons

Where to begin? Mid level management needs serious help. I was managed by someone that doesn’t understand technology in the least and was vocal about NOT changing? How do you move forward with stale managers? There was a whole ancillary team in my department that I never understood what their job was but they were underpaid and seemed miserable. There are several lifetime employees there that are no longer valid contributors but they keep them on staff just because. HR..............HA! They back whatever non sense their told whether they know it to be true or not. Believe the reviews and don’t bother.

Pros

Occasional free lunch with opportunities for advancement.

Cons

This place needs serious work. After banging my head against the wall and trying to be the best employee possible I had to give up and move on. Seriosuly disfunctional and disorganized, I feel bad for all of those people who have to keep this job in order to make ends meet.
