Pros

I loved my time at ACC, the people you get to work with are exceptional and it was very fulfilling coming to work every day knowing that my job was unambiguously making a positive impact on the world. The pay isn't spectacular, but is surprisingly competitive and the benefits are top-notch.

Cons

It is VERY difficult to advance. There's almost nothing in place to reward good performance or train people for leadership roles, and the people who have those roles tend to park there until they retire.

Pay could have been better. Upper management is awful. They are out of touch with what staff really do all day.

Pros

ACC's a good employer to work for in general. Great benefits, decent pay.

Cons

Position isn't for the weak. Was not training enough and ultimately the team is still too small for the amount of work put on people. ACC should consider having a team of recruiters for each region of Central Texas/each campus of ACC. Seven to eight people do not deserve the amount of pressure put on them.
