Cons

Culture thick with Nepotism. Workplace full of bullying. No action from HR when formal grievances are filed. No workplace consistency or procedures working in Enrollment and Advising. Top heavy salary culture, low salary for staff actually working the positions. No management accountability. Difficult workplace atmosphere. Hiring committees don't even matter -- when a hiring committee makes a decision as a unit, it can be trumped by the hiring manager for political/personal gain. Therefore, what is the purpose of a hiring committee?

- Management is competent and cares about its employees - Whenever there's significant downtime, you can study/work on school assignments -Chill and not demanding; easy to understand what you need to do in order to be successful in this job

Cons

I don't have any concerns at the moment. I would only say that some students/teachers can be very rude, but I think that comes w/ customer service in general. We are allowed to stand our ground in case there's blatant harassment and can ask them to leave and/or call campus police.
