      Pros

      Helping students with special needs is one of the best things you can do in this world.. if it's done correctly.

      Cons

      Very uneducated and immature staff. So much gossip you can't even help your students without hearing nasty things about someone else. Everyone looks extremely unprofessional and sloppy. If you don't have 100 tattoos and purple hair, they'll judge you and treat you like dirt. For those who are actually educated and want real a career, find a different school.

      None- they are terrible

      Cons

      Management has horrible communication skills, they take forever to respond back, sometimes they don't even respond back. The pay is awful, they don't give you a considerate amount of time for PTO/ sick days. They fire people left and right. They are crooks and try to take the cheap way out of stuff for more money into their pockets. They do not provide classroom necessities- be prepared to buy your own copy paper, pencils, folders and everything else.

      STRS benefits, friendly staff,

      Cons

      High turn over of administration and staff. Many students have severe behavior issues. Staff is expected to work on snow days. Communication is terrible. Students do not have opportunities to attend field trips or join clubs. No sports.
