Pros

Working with the kids was the only pro that lasted.

Cons

Therapists are not valued. Even when I received by BCBA, I was not promoted, though they had told me to earn it so I could move up. There was no trying--I stayed a therapists even as a Masters-level BCBA. I loved ACES when I started, but it went downhill very quickly. Huge turnover. I didn't receive a raise until I had been there for three years.

Pros

Flexible hours and you get reimbursed for driving from client to client. You also get a bonus if you recommend someone, but they have to stay with in the company for a certain amount of time.

Cons

Too many requirements with paperwork. You turn in everything when you are hired, but there is always something new popping up.

Pros

Starting pay was $15. Some cool employees. Some sessions can be super chill. Working with clients can be pretty fun at times. Connecting with students can be rewarding. You can choose your availability.

Cons

Training is pretty short and does not prepare you at all for actual clients. I was told on my first to pretend like I've been doing this for a while. No one ever gets a raise. Your hours will rarely go above 30. You have to drive out 30 minutes to clients homes. Driving to a clients house and having them no show is pretty common. If this does happen you only get paid for 20 minutes even if it takes you an hour to drive there and back. You don't get paid/reimbursed for miles unless its from client to client. There are clicks. Some employees can be too by the book. Employees are constantly quitting and new employees are always being hired. Some clients can be very difficult to work with. You can't use any Aces employees as a reference. They can only confirm that you worked there.
