Don't Let Your Family Get In The Way Of Your Job
Pros
There aren't any, the management places no value in human capital. Everyone is expendable and replaceable.
Cons
The upper management sees no value in their employees. Expectations are that you will dedicate your entire life to meeting the company's unrealistic goals, at all personal costs. Field personnel are expendable. Customers are sold on unobtainable timelines and the field personnel and subcontractors are expected to do whatever it takes to achieve the schedules. They only thing that is important to the owners is the bottom-line. You will get written-up and chastised for not knowing something, yet they make no effort to teach their employees. Write-em-up and fire them--you are all replaceable. Unrealistic and unfounded faith in incompetent senior managers. The employee turnover rate is outrageously high.
