Pros

There are no pro's except it's a job and you can somewhat pay your bills with the pay.

Cons

Management is awful! They cater to Sales and those that kiss butt, regardless of how little work they actually do. Those of us that actually work our butts off are constantly reprimanded for piddly little things that are really ridiculous.

Pros

Ever changing so learn something new everyday. Decent benefits. Solid financially. Opportunity for career growth. Diversified. Great stock options. Great opportunity to work directly with clients.

Cons

ADP Leadership doesn't care if you put in 26 years, were one of the best in your job and gave your life to their company. If you happen to be in a location where they no longer want to employ you, you are done! No heads up. Just gone. No options to relocate you or work from home. They eliminate associates like they are erasing a dot on a map.

Pros

They do lots of events to engage employees. They give us lunches, treats, goodies etc at random. They have a good 401k plan. Their health and welfare benefits aren't all that great but okay. Better than nothing. One of the pros used to be flexible working arrangements but they are moving away from that. Previously employees used to get 2 days to work at home but that is changing quickly and no longer allowed.

Cons

Management sends out way too many unnecessary emails. There is no proper training and structure. You are given minimum training and then left in the blind to figure your way out. Everyone has their own way of doing things. There's no "right" answer per se. Now when companies are moving towards flexible working arrangements, they are moving away from it because a few people took advantage of it. They should have taken action on those people instead of spoiling this perk for everyone. There are people keeping an eye on you as if almost taking attendance every day. Somedays it still feels like being in school instead of at a grown up work place. They are even offering lower and lower starting salaries while increasing the workload. I was hired to do just benefits and hr. Now all implementation consultants are doing hr, benefits, recruitment, performance, compensation and ACA. All of this comes with no increase in pay which is ridiculous. Way too much for one individual to handle, especially the newcomers. They train you on everything at once in 6 weeks and then throw you in to just figure it out yourself. Everyone is so lost. If employees don't know what they are talking about and not comfortable with the job, how will the clients be?
