Pros

Nationally recognized company, good-fair training programs, at first glace their interview process appeared fair and equitable, but was anything but.

Cons

At every stage in the interview process they were either late for the interview time, did not make the scheduled time and failed to re-schedule prior to the interview. The interview process from initial interview (basic), to peer (a complete joke of unplanned, silly questions which where not relative to the position, but were all about fitting in with that manager's age group (30's) with 7 years work experience in the area of expertise. It was discriminatory and insulting.

Pros

ADP is a very large and successful company. They are considered to be a premium service provider in Payroll Services, Automobile dealer services and Human Resources divisoin.

Cons

The company treated its employees very well and was considered to be conservative up until 2009. Currently the company is aggresively outsourcing and consolidating internal positions which has its employees growingly concerned about their future at ADP. ADP is not making responsible descisions as far as keeping jobs within the US.

Pros

Relatively good benefits package offered Flexible schedule regarding time off Telecommuting privileges (if you're one of the chosen elite) Financially sound company

Cons

Zero opportunities for promotion, unless you're willing to suck up (big time) Advancement is based on tenure & friendships with management, and not on merit Office politics at its worst Tenure is valued more highly than ability Poor compensation compared to similar jobs in the market Work atmosphere promotes laziness & lack of accountability while those who are productive must pick up the slack. Very poor job training Deceptive job descriptions cause the wrong people to be hired for the wrong jobs
