Pros

Colleagues - The people I worked with on a daily basis were great. We had a great team and collaborated to complete the work. Experience - Great place for entry level professionals to get a myriad of experience. Just need to be open to the opportunities and don't let yourself be pigeon-holed. With more experience across a range of areas, more opportunities will be available. As you start to focus on an area of expertise ensure you have a good network, otherwise you will probably be forgotten.

Cons

An engineering firm should not be managed by accountants whose only loyalty is to the stock price. Change. AECOM - Always Expect Change On Monday: Every year, somebody in upper management would come up with an idea on how to "improve" processes to enhance the company. While some (<25%) were actually good and did assist the staff, the majority of these changes just added additional layers to trying to complete the work, thus adding more time to project managers work that provided no benefit to the clients and thus had to be completed on their own time.

Pros

Refers to Environmental Consulting and Site Remediation -Generally good coworkers -Flexible hours -Opportunity to work on cool projects and for travel -When you get on a good team for a good client, can be a really great place to work.

Cons

-When things get slow, they become really strict with billable hours to the point where they make you take PTO. -Tons of politics between the offices over who does what jobs and who does what, often to the detriment of lower-level employees. -Local management has too many people to answer to. For example, being instructed to hire more entry-levels "to show growth" when current entry-levels barely kept busy. Also, being instructed to keep overhead costs down.

Corrupt Management

Pros

- Good company to start off with making a name for yourself along the career ladder of your choice. - They intake ex-convicts to meet their quota.

Cons

Management has the buddy system induced over qualified candidates. When they don't like you or you impede them from a future contract. They'll put you on something called "The List." Where you become Gangstalked in hopes of one becoming a criminal like themselves, or worse.. - Minimal Pay for Defense Contractors. - Some Overvalued workers for undervalued salary. - Need Benefits package for leave and sick pay. - They overlook people's background checks, so you never know whom your dealing with. - They have sexual relations with inner office employees. - They do drugs during working hours. - They sometime hire unethically people to do their dirty work (i.e. tempt workers with bribes).
