AECOM just pulled the heist of a lifetime. After a mass exodus last year, they offered good pay and amazing health benefits. Within a few weeks of being hired I was told my health benefits in 2024 would go up 800/month from 100/ month. Now I researched this company and was warmly brought it but now I know this is just a stepping point to a better opportunity with a company who has morals. I would avoid as they paint a good picture but at their core are just the stockholders way of growing wealth.

Everything except Flexible Work Schedule. I spent a lifetime in engineering in the energy corridor in Houston, TX. AECOM is HANDS DOWN the worst engineering company I have ever been associated with. Very few employed here know what they are doing. There is NO help from supervisors. Many, especially in the 30-50 age range have a very polished delivery but have no clue how to get things done nor do they know the details of their own business; they are an empty suit. There are no procedures but they tell prospective clients we follow our procedures. IT support is a joke. The safety program is a joke. They spend too much effort and time on convincing employees it is a great place to work and attempting to be politically correct. If you are in your early – mid career go somewhere (anywhere) else. Don’t waste your time here, you may pick up bad habits.
