Pros

Good pay if you are good at your job, lots of opportunity for extra work. Mostly working by yourself so no one is ever bothering you. I enjoy the schedule as well, it is a rotational based schedule so sometimes you will get 6 days off in a row which is really nice.

Cons

Management does bare minimum to help, usually will only care if it benefits them. They like to continue to add more work for you to do for same pay. They say there is room to move up, but this is generally not true. If you do get the chance it usually comes with a significant pay cut at first.

Pros

Steady and secure work. You get to work with cutting edge fibre technology. Many resources and depts to move across. There are opportunities to grow and find other jobs in company.

Cons

Poor organizational structure. Too much wasted time and energy on past projects. Bad habit of bowing down to largest clientele. Can be frustrating when unrealistic demands are placed on you.
