Pros

Really nice place to intern. The engineers are extremely helpful. The projects I had, required lots of hands on work and I ended up having tons of real world experience in a few months. You'll have a good time working with other engineers. I was really impressed by my boss, he was more like a friend (still is a friend). There are some remarkably intelligent people in the engineering department.

Cons

It's not a huge company, but thats a not bad because you get recognized for your work. I worked there for less than a year, and everyone already knew about my work. Many people I had never met, complimented my projects. They paid extremely competatively for a mere internship. I am pretty sure big companies like Intel would pay as much to their interns.

Pros

I can't think of any except it gave me a pay cheque to support my family.

Cons

Their business practices were less than to be desired. Communication in the work place between management and satelite operations almost nonexistent. In turn this has cost the company lost of many many business opportunities. Which in turn cost the company to lose many lucrative contracts and has hurt the reputation of the company.
