Pros

Unit based pay - best year was 80k. 5 year average was probably 70k. Working 4 days a week. Benefits after 3 months. Working independently a lot.

Cons

terrible manager in Victoria BC. The high turnover rate is probably 80% due to the 1 manager. The manager is a jobsworth company person with no compassion for employees. lack of support in the field. expected to have your work phone turned on on your days off and for you to pick up and take customer calls. No pay for extra hours for paperwork/taking calls. Expected to go back to an install or repair multiple time (can be up to 5 at times due to faulty equipment or people who dont know how to use electronics) which you are not paid for. No room for promotion.
