Cons

The CEO, Kurien Jacob, is a tyrant and a joke. For a company that has been in operation for 30 years, it is disturbing how disparate the departments, the products and the management are. He knows nothing about how to treat his employees. My experience with him consisted of him demeaning and devaluing my boss, cussing and complaining about how worthless the sales organization is and being ridiculed with multiple threats of losing our jobs on a weekly basis. Many sales reps have been "let-go" due to Kurien's "mood", for no valid reason or explanation. Worse yet, he will have his small group of mentally abused followers (there are a select few, which is beyond me) do the firing for him.

Pros

Paycheck is consistent. The best thing you can hope for is that executive leadership will sell the company quickly to someone interested in building software before all its customers make noisy exits and drive the valuation down to pennies on the dollar.

Cons

The company is lost is a sea of acquisitions with an out of touch executive management team who has done a terrible job of uniting their acquisitions with a common culture and overall company direction. Several high profile tier 1 customers have left this year and signed with more nimble and responsive competitors while the executive's point fingers and show the seasoned experienced employees to the door. Under the hood lies moldy, disconnected software built on aged, and cumbersome technologies.

The benefits and sometimes the salary based on position.

Cons

No employer - employee loyalty. If business is bad, employees are blamed and then fired. Management hopes with new staff they will get better results and the cycle continues. High turnover. Raises few and far between.
