      Pros

      Nice office with a nice lab. Limited opportunity for sales and engineering as most of good positions are taken.

      Cons

      Lots of favoritism and cronyism. Services offerings are flavor of the day and inconsistent.

      Pros

      Fairly talented group of people. Very nice office. Good benefits package. Most departments willing to work with each other.

      Cons

      There is way too much favorite playing. If you play the political game and are friends with management you will be taken care of. If you are not you are considered and treated like an outsider. As much as management has tried to not make it look like this it always pops up. This is large part why we had the turnover in key roles. The sales and the technical organization are also on separate pages most of the time. This was often evident when we went to deliver projects.

      I see that you are no longer at Ahead, so it is difficult for me to know what period of time you were here. Saying that, we have had our ups and our downs over the last eight years. It sounds like you were at Ahead during one of our downs. I believe Ahead is much different today. We are at the top of our game, growing faster than we have ever grown, with a stronger culture than we have ever had. I guess what doesn't kill us does make us stronger. I am sorry that I didn't provide you a better experience when you were here. Best of luck in your career and future.

      Pros

      The culture and opportunity are the best things about Ahead. We are constantly pushing to be better. The theme of collaborate, innovate, and drive are representative of our values and expectations.

      Cons

      Ahead is a growing business and with that comes change. You have to be willing to move fast and adjust on the fly. It is also a very open environment that pushes collaboration. This can a positive if you desire it or a negative if you don't.
