      Pros

      Time off is encouraged if you are in the right department, YMMV. If you can do mediocre work and know how to promise everything under the sun you will have a home here. You will get many awards for many different tasks all of which means nothing because you can still get let go the very next day (I have seen this).

      Cons

      Salary will always be 10% or more below market value and you will have to wear multiple hats (no employee will deny this). When they finally hire extra help, they hire unqualified individuals (poor screening). Benefits are a joke, they have employees that have been with them for 10+ years and wont be retirement ready.

      minimum wage, abusive customers, abusive managers, zero appreciation, hard work, fire at will policy, no raises

      Great mission, dedicated people, willingness to help, likes to promote from within.

      Cons

      Does not give raises (but does bonus), pays less then other non-profits because it believes people are here for the mission.
